it is awesome to imagine the state of mind someone like Thomas Edison had to be in to make the impossible possible, because i'm sure before him ppl used to used lanterns and torches for light. the bulb, still used today has the same concept through improvement like florocent bulbs etc. I wonder, if it wasnt for him, how long after would someone else come up with this technology? 10 yrs? 50 yrs? that would probably mean that several other technology dependent on light would have been delayed then our lives today would be totally different?
